Plate Magnets
Plate magnets go by many names such as: suspended magnets , suspension magnets, overhead magnets, over band magnets, conveyor magnets, belt magnets, crossbelt magnets and suspended magnetic separator to name a few. We offer Plate magnets in various shapes and sizes to suit your application perfectly.
Plate magnets are ideal for suspension over conveyor belts or chutes . Suspended units can operate from 50mm to 450mm, Sizes are determined by your burden depth of your material, speed of the conveyor, the material bulk density and conveyor / chute width.
Inline plate magnets can handle burden depths of 20mm-300mm with material flowing over the magnet face.
Support frames (Where these magnets are suspended from) can be supplied to fit your existing equipment

Suspended Plate Magnets (Over belt magnets)
These units are available as a manual cleaning unit / an easy cleaning unit which is supplied with a nonmagnetic stainless steel hinged plate on the magnet face or a nonmagnetic stainless steel scraper / stripper plate on the magnet face for easy cleaning purposes.
Supplied complete with lifting lugs in place for easy suspension.
The easy clean scraper plates / hinge plate are easily replaced if worn out / damaged
The units are supplied with strong bumper plates protecting the scraper plate / hinge plate from surges of material / lumps of material bumping against the bottom of your magnet.
These units are supplied with certificates for reference
Available in Ferrite / Neodymium models.

Self-Cleaning Plate Magnets
Self-cleaning plate magnets are often used when allot of ferrous contaminates are present for example in scrap recycling, They are however also often used in mining , quarrying, and industrial applications as they don’t need any manual intervention and will clean themselves constantly.
These magnets can be used as either a cross belt separator (Suspended across your conveyor / inline separator operating at the end of your conveyor)
The motors are supplied to suit your available power input and is supplied with a suitable gearbox as a direct drive unit, (These come with a 1 year guarantee for ease of mind) and can run continuously or on a timer depending on your preference.
The unit is fully made from 304 stainless steel ensuring almost no maintenance is needed and that these units can operate in any conditions.
The belts are very easily replaced, joined using a stainless steel hinge making replacement quick and easy.
The units are available in Gauss ratings of 1500 – 12 000 Surface Gauss

Inline Plate Magnets
Inline plate magnets are installed in places where your material runs over the face of the magnet. These units offer both a long reach field and strong holding power in combination with a step on the magnet face where the ferrous contaminates will build up out of your flow of material.
Inline plate magnets are used in many applications including food processing facilities.
These units are available in any sizes to suit your needs perfectly.
The units are available in Gauss ratings of 1500 – 12 000 Surface Gauss ( Supplied with certificates ) When used in the food industry these units are built to the HACCP Magsep standards. Various mounting options are available to make your installation as easy as possible.
Pivot Plate Magnets
Pivot type plate magnets offer easy cleaning options on conveyor belts / chutes
.Available in any size to suit your needs perfectly !These units are mounted on your existing equipment or on a dedicated frame. The units are designed to pivot so they can be turned upside down for easy cleaning.
The unit is turned upside down on the pivots provided, and with the magnet face now being easily accessible an easy clean nonmagnetic stainless steel hinged plate is simply hinged open to release the ferrous contaminates that you have caught.
Can work on any angle chute / conveyor. The units are available in Gauss ratings of 1500 – 12 000 Surface Gauss ( Supplied with certificates )
Special Plate Magnets
Plate magnets can be made in many forms and sizes to fit most applications. Special plate magnets include mineral separation magnets separating various minerals based on their magnetic properties. These can be in the form of a suspended magnet or inline magnet depending on the application. Mineral beneficiation magnets upgrade your minerals to a saleable concentrate .
