Door magnets are often fitted to existing chutes and is supplied to make installation as easy as possible. Please note that these units have to be installed into nonmagnetic chutes like stainless steel to be as effective as possible.The units are supplied with a flange which is fitted to your existing chute, You simply make a cut-out in your existing chute ( the inside of the flange can be used as a template for this ) and the flange is then bolted into place, The flange in turn holds the door magnet in place ready for operation.
Door magnets do not constrict the flow of your material and can be used on vertical, angled or horizontal chutes.

Depending on the size of your chute a door magnet can be installed on both sides of the chute to ensure the magnetism penetrates the entire chute
They are ideal in applications with high flow rates, Fine powders, big particle sizes, high bulk density materials etc.
